There are 3 different types of Marlins English Language Tests available:
- English Language Test for Seafarers
- English Language Test for Cruise Ship Staff
- English Language Test for Offshore Workers
We also have 3 different certificate types available for the English Language Test mentioned above please see the descriptions below:
Standard test certificate
This test can be taken anywhere. It is not supervised and no ID checks are taken.
AI Proctored test certificate
This test can only be purchased by a company.
The test can be taken anywhere. It is AI Proctored over webcam. The seafarer is required to show the webcam their photo ID before the test and are recorded through webcam throughout the test. The AI Proctor will flag any warning signs like multiple people on camera, sound, different browser being opened.
When the test is complete someone in your office would be responsible for watching the recording of the test and deciding if it should be approved for the certificate to be generated.
Marlins Approved Test Centre test certificate
This test can only be completed in a Marlins Approved Test Centre. The seafarer is supervised throughout the full test by someone in the centre.
